Hillmorton High School

Aoraki welcomes this new team from Hillmorton.

They were just learning in the world of Dragon Boating in 2009, but are having a lot of fun doing so.

Hillmorton have a team of year 13 and 12 students involved. They have had a great group of Yr 13’s who train through the summer (2009-10), once a week on the water and in the school gym at 7am two times a week.

At the start of the 2011-12 season, Andrea told us "We are really looking forward to another Dragon Boat season, we have a great new bunch of students who are very keen to be involved, so let's hope they keep that enthusiasm up all season!"

A big thanks to Terry Coyle for all his coaching and Paddy O’Loughlin at Buildcrete Construction Ltd for our uniforms.
