Christchurch Girls’ High School

"CGHS" has been involved in Dragon Boating for a number of years now and we are very lucky indeed to have “Iceman” associated with our school - he is so passionate, patient and has a wonderful way of getting the best out of our students.

We are very grateful for the amount of hours he puts into Dragon Boating at Christchurch Girls’ High School.

As it’s a school policy only to allow year 13 students to Dragon Boat “Iceman” has to start with new girls every year and to his credit he has them paddling to success in no time at all.

We are very grateful for Tu Meke’s support in allowing us to use their equipment. The relationship we have formed with Tu Meke sees all of our students who continue with Dragon Boating go on and paddle for Tu Meke and it is wonderful to see these students continue with the sport once they leave school.
