| 1. Viewing from the roadside past the sheds that are on the northern side of Steamer Basin. Looking south, to the startline area. |
2. There seems to be just one gap between these long buildings that line the northern side. |
| 3. This is about where the finish line was at the Emperor's Dragon event in 2009. |
4. The car park by the finish line. Probable location of the Finish Line Tower, plus the Commentator (Richard Bromley). |
| 5. Carpark to the right and the restaurant to the right. Great viewing of the Finish Line from here. |
6. This is a fairly busy road (Wharf St) going past the promenade. |
| This gives an overview of where the pics taken from. The numbers in the red circles match the Street View photos. |
| 7. This is a kind of Rotunda in the middle of the promenade, so it is looking straight down the race course. |
8. Further along Wharf St, this is getting near to where "Race HQ" will be. |
| 9. Carpark with Race HQ, and pobably Crew Loading. |
10. Jade Car Park, which could include food vendors. |
| 11. Some car parkling is available, but this is also a likely area for crew tents and marquess. |
12. Continuing about 150 metres down Kitchener St, there is only one gap betwen the buildings. |
| 13. This ithe eastern-most of the two long buildings along the Southern side of Steamer Basin. |
14. Then around the corner, looking out over the point... |
| 15. and to the Rowing Club boat ramp that we hope to share, so we can back our two six-berth Dragon Boat Trailers down to the water. |
16. Indication of the path to tow the boats from the ramp around to the jetty |
